Movie Screening of "Never Let Me Go"

Check out Keira Knightley’s new movie, tomorrow night! Wednesday, September 22nd at 7:30pm be one of the first to catch the “sneak peak” movie screening of NEVER LET ME GO, a movie about Kathy, Tommy and Ruth who live in a world and a time that feel familiar to us, but are not quite like anything we know. They spend their childhood at Hailsham, a seemingly idyllic English boarding school. When they leave the shelter of the school and the terrible truth of their fate is revealed to them, they must also confront the deep feelings of love, jealousy and betrayal that threaten to pull them apart.

Dallas Children's Theater

At Dallas Children’s Theater get ready for the kooky and the spooky! It’s the Mongrews! Rosewood Center’s Young Adult Rated Drama presents THE CURSE OF CASTLE MONGREW, a gothic-horror comedy, playing October 8 – October 31, 2010 at DCT’s Rosewood Center for Family Arts. This Halloween, visit the medieval castle of the Mongrews in the midst of the Great Grimpen Frogswamp! Complete with live acoustical accompaniment, a mad matriarch, an apoplectic master, a dashing hero and a feisty, yet practical heroine, THE CURSE OF CASTLE MONGREW, is a parody of Gothic romance to be enjoyed by age 12 and up. www.dct.org.

Movie Screening of "Conviction"

Two-time Academy® Award winner Hilary Swank (MILLION DOLLAR BABY, BOYS DON'T CRY) stars in CONVICTION, the story of the unwavering bond between brother and sister who made a solemn promise to always be there for one another, no matter what. When her older brother Kenny (Sam Rockwell) is arrested and sentenced to life in prison for murder, Betty Anne Waters, a Massachusetts wife and mother of two, dedicates her life to overturning the murder conviction utilizing the newly burgeoning science of DNA testing. Be one of the first to see CONVICTION on Thursday, September 30th, 7:30pm.

Dallas Symphony Orchestra

The cosmic musical personalities of Holst's The Planets are enhanced with stunning accompanying video as Dallas Symphony Orchestra performs this classic on Sept. 30th - Oct. 2nd. Movie Screening of "Life as We Know It"

And one more film to see... LIFE AS WE KNOW IT, starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel. Holly Berenson is an up-and-coming caterer and Eric Messer is a promising network sports director. After a disastrous first date, the only thing they have in common is their dislike for each other and their love for their goddaughter, Sophie. But when they suddenly become all Sophie has in the world, Holly and Eric are forced to put their differences aside. Juggling career ambitions and competing social calendars, they'll have to find some common ground while living under one roof.
